LATEST IMPROVEMENTS

Every improvement, in one place

01
Open shopping

Explore retailers directly

Mary’s Deals is back. Search and browse official retailer destinations without affiliate approval. Prices and availability should be checked with each retailer. Feedback helps us improve the experience; receipt points remain a nonredeemable pilot.

02
Nearby savings

Verified local stores and distances rise to the top

Shoppers can optionally use their general location or a ZIP code. Mary’s search now verifies real matching branches within 30 miles, calculates the nearest distance, and only displays a nearby label when store-location evidence was found. Changing or clearing location automatically refreshes active results.

03
Retailer garden

Thousands of approved retailers, one welcoming directory

The retailer menu now grows directly from Mary’s approved merchant catalog, with instant store search, A–Z browsing, comfortable incremental loading, and a protected commission-enabled path for every retailer.

04
Merchant intelligence

A living catalog of approved shopping paths

Mary’s Deals can now securely collect the complete approved merchant list, match it to the retailer directory, favor commission-ready results, and refresh changed merchants automatically without exposing private affiliate credentials.

05
Search intelligence

Search now understands products, brands, models, and retailer specialties

A new intent-aware matching foundation connects natural-language searches to product concepts, category relationships, brands, model patterns, and retailer specialties. Results now favor manufacturer-direct and specialty stores while filtering weak or unrelated matches.

06
Retailers

The retailer directory now goes directly to each store

Selecting Kohl’s—or any retailer in the directory—now opens that retailer’s official homepage through Mary’s commission-enabled affiliate gate instead of running another product search.

07
Rewards pilot

Private receipt review and pilot points

Mary now has a protected review queue for inspecting submitted receipts, recording one approval decision, leaving a shopper-facing note, and awarding auditable pilot points. Daily submission limits and review flags add another layer of protection.

08
Rewards pilot

Private receipt submissions are blooming

Signed-in shoppers can now photograph or upload recent receipts, prevent duplicate submissions, and follow each receipt through a review queue. Points and gift-card redemption remain a clearly labeled pilot until verification and reward partners are ready.

09
Usability

Clearer product search guidance

The main search now explains that item names, product types, and brands produce the best results. Store shoppers get a separate retailer-directory shortcut.

10
Feedback

Feedback now reaches Mary by email

Feedback submissions are delivered to Mary’s inbox, with Reply-To enabled when a visitor includes an email address and a database backup for reliability.

11
Accessibility

English and Spanish throughout the site

Navigation, search guidance, retailer categories, Deal Garden, featured deals, and feedback can all switch between English and Spanish.

12
Search

Smarter category-aware deal research

Search results now prioritize relevant official retailer domains and explain why strongly matched results appear.

13
Personalization

My Deal Garden and account syncing

Visitors can save promising retailer deal pages, filter their garden, and sync saved offers between devices when signed in.

14
Retailers

A categorized directory of 100 major retailers

The retailer drawer organizes major stores by shopping category and connects searches to official retailer-owned destinations.
